Tomorrow is World Down Syndrome Day and our little fundraiser for NDSS will end. If you have been meaning to contribute to Project 3.21 but have done so yet, please click on this link. It will walk you through the online donation. A huge thank you to everyone who has donated, both big and small contributions, and an even bigger thank you to everyone who has helped in spreading the message. Project 3.21 had 793 views and the link was shared over a hundred times on facebook. We were able to surpass our goal of $1000, which is awesome! World Down Syndrome Day is all about recognizing the potential of Fiona and her peers, giving them more opportunities to reach their potentials and helping the world to be more accepting of different. So tomorrow at noon, I will proudly share Fiona's story on SWFL 90.1 to help NDSS promote their My Great Story campaign. A great part of their website that allowes people with Down syndrome and the people who love them to share their stories of what they have been able to accomplish with the life God has blessed them with. As a mom who once had to hear the words "Your baby has Down syndrome", knowing the potential people with the extra 21st chromosome truly have through real stories was one of the most comforting things to read. I am forever grateful for Kelle Hampton and the My Great Story campaign.
